Use this before you accept, present, or sign off on any AI-assisted decision. If a box is unchecked, the decision is not ready.

Before you accept the output
- I know the source data, the model used, and the prompt that produced it.
- I have re-derived the top-line number, or a human I trust has.
- I can name the two assumptions the recommendation rests on.
- I have seen where the model hedged in the original — and whether that hedge survived the summary.
- I have considered the strongest counter-argument the output does not address.

Before you take it to a meeting
- A named human owns this recommendation. No passive voice.
- A 'sources and assumptions' page is attached, not optional.
- At least one alternative that does not resemble the prototype is written down.
- 'What would we do if we didn't do this?' has an answer.
- The pack does not use the phrase 'the model recommends'.

Before you sign off
- A dissenting voice was invited to review, and their input is on the record.
- The decision log captures: model, prompt, sources, owner, alternatives, dissent.
- The decision can be defended without reference to the tool that produced it.
- A review date is set for after the decision has had time to prove itself.
